Well I took a home pregnancy test yesterday and it came out positive. I hope all goes well this time around. We were not trying for another one since we lost Anna last August, so I guess this pregnancy was just meant to be. And I do think that something is in the water around here.

CONGRATS!!!!! I hope everything goes smooth! keep us posted on everything!!! I agree about the water...lol the past 2 days I had a friend having a baby. And one last week. But I still have 13 friends on facebook pregnant!

Oh wow! So happy for you!!! I'm sure your doctor will keep a closer eye on you this time too.

I have decided that I am just going to be happy about the pregnancy and not worry about anything bad happening again. I have to just trust in God that everything will be okay.

dint you have the loop wire or the cone biopsy??
im sooo scared i go into pre-term labour,they said its possible but also said its possible to go overdue x

I had a laser cone back when I was 17. The reason I went into preterm labor with Anna was due to the doctor being a moron and not stitching my cervix and not telling the ob i switched too that i needed it done. So I ended up with an infection in my placenta that went to the baby and so I had her at 25wks and she lived 45 minutes.

oh my god i cant imagine what you went through,i was devastated at bleeding at 5 weeks so at 25
well i seen a consultant and asked about a stitch but he said with the loop/leep its done different from the cone,he said the stitch could do moe damage than good so avoided it,he said he you was going to it'd happen between 16-24 weeks so the NEXT time we'd put a stitch in next time he said like oh if you lose baby we know for next time,i think he seen the horror on my face,i was gob smacked i couldnt speak, but he said lorna avin a stitch put in could lead to complications the cone biopsy no,only thing he did say i still had a chance of pre-term labour but most likely after 35 weeks so any contraction like pains to get checked out.
so are they stitching you this time? cant beleive they was so carless last time obviously your cervix is going to be weaker. but your right think positive and no worrying,hard tho isnt it

The game plan is stitch and put me on progestrogen or however you spell it. I go and see the doctor on July 22nd at 10:30AM and the nurse on July 12th at 2pm. Yes it is very hard to be positive but if I do not I will go crazy with worry. I have decided I just have to do all I can on my part and leave the rest up to God.

My goodness gracious!! Maybe it's a good thing I haven't been on in a while. Because there is something about being a member of this board.

I am so happy for all of you that are expecting. This winter is going to be very busy on this board.

i agree i could sit a dwell and even just go on total bedrest,er with 3 kids tho impossible but, like my dad said to me if its meant to be its meant,so fingers crossed for both of us
