Barbra, were you still having contractions though and just not dialating? How long did they let you go before they decided on c-section?

they waited about 8 hours before giving me a c-sect. the next dr told me if they hadnt of broken my water they would have let me go over night. i was having contractions and everything but i wasnt dilating very fast. i think i moved from a 4 to almost a 5 but they were concerned about the baby not having fluid.

Did you get your tubes tied Melly?

No, I didn't get my tubes tied. My husband has a vesectomy (sp) He had it done shortly after delanie was born. We were certain we didn't want anymore, more like afford anymore..:)

I suppose it's a matter of pesonal preference...I have the understanding that it's easier for the man to have it done rather than a woman have a tubal. We are in hopes that dh can have his done this summer and when our baby is born that I can also have tubal done...double insurance of no more babies   But, I have to check with our insurance and see if they'd pay for us to both have such procedures done

Wendy, how are you feeling?

aahhhhh i see now, here its a matter of why you had a c-section previously, like a friend of mine her pelvis is too small so she'll never give birth naturally, another girl's baby was breech so they said there's no reason what so ever she cant have a natural birth next time, saying that i dont know anyone who as had a natural birth after a c-section,do you ?? xx

Yes I do! ME! LOL!
