We all have to do the 1 hour one, and typically only if you fail that you is when you have to do the 3 hour one. I managed to suck it down within the 5 minutes, but hurled my cookies on the ultrasound table. I thought the first one was absolutely horrible, so I am definitely thankful that I didn't have to do the 3 hour one... eww.

and if you have a strong family history of diabetes you have to do the three hour as well

Well, I did my 3 hour...super fun, as usual. I should know the results either tomorrow afternoon or Monday, and I'm guessing Monday the way things tend to go at that office. My arms look super special now. I think tomorrow they'll be pretty darn bruised, since the bruising is already started.
